Let's Talk: Month Of The Year

I sat down today to scan my blog, I realized that I haven't uploaded any post in a long time where I just talk about something or anything, in fact my last one was my very first one titled 'Introduction' which is about more than a year old. It's not that I never wanted to talk about something, there are few drafts lying around in my blog where I typed down my views on the much hyped hated Deepika Padukone- "MyChoice" video or on the Game Of Thrones Season 5 finale which literally was a stab to my heart (no spoilers) but never felt like posting them, call it my conflicting thoughts or call them a little too risky. Finally, I've come up with something that's lighthearted and can give you a little peek into my thought world, so Let's Talk.

I always used to think I had no favorite month in a year, people around me had one which was usually their birthday month for obvious reasons, but when it came to me I had none, until now. Turns out I do have a favorite, and it is *drumrolls* December. Why December you may ask, well I can think of a reason or two or maybe more.

Maybe it's because it's the holiday season and I can stay at home or visit people I love. Maybe it's because it's the wedding season and I can play dress up. Maybe it's because most of the songs I like have a December reference in them. Maybe it's because it's the most chilliest month out of all and I like winters a lot. Maybe it's because I can feel the chills on my skin and the warmth in my belly at the same time. Maybe it's because I can wrap myself in a fat blanket at night and feel safe. Maybe it's cause the days stay dark and gloomy most of the time and that happens to be my-kind-of sunshine. Maybe it's because winter fashion is much more warmer 'cooler', who could say no to adorable hoodies and beanies. Maybe it's because I met people and have had life changing experiences around this month. Maybe it's because December is the last month in a year, basically it's the end of a year and I happen to like happy endings.Or maybe I just happen to December for no apparent reason at all. You never know.

What I love about him....

This is inspired by the monologues at the beginning of the film "Marriage Story". I decided to keep a few lines the same, as they resonated with me, and let my imagination take care of the rest. What I love about him... he is articulate. He will have anyone hooked from the first five minutes of a conversation. He is very passionate about things that bring him joy, especially his craft. He works tirelessly and is dedicated towards chasing his dreams.   He is very self-sufficient—that man can cook himself dinner, sew a button, iron his shirt and clean up after himself. He never lets his jealously or insecurity get the best of him which I think I always do. Black & White

Everyday is a battle ground. Sweat, tears and blood run me dry. Fighting something that only I can see. One moment everything falls calm and you think it's over but it never is, cause this battle I fight is with a black cat in the dark room. The silence in the room cannot subside the screeching screams inside my head. I keep begging them to stop but they only grow loud.
