A place that I once called Home
Sometimes people give out a persona. Some are like the bright yellow summer, while some are like the chilly winter nights. Some are like roller coaster rides that give you the thrills, while others are like horror movie nights that leave you with the chills. But only a handful of people give out the persona of a home, which in my case was you. A place where I was happy, calm, safe, and content all at the same time. Standing in the balcony to the sight of you watching the rainfall with so much amusement was my happy place. When I woke up in the middle of the night with a nightmare, having you comfort me back to sleep was my calm place. Well, wrapped in your arms, while I heard you say, "There is nothing in the world I wouldn’t do to protect you" with a kiss on my forehead, well, that was my safe place.
