Red Dress
The sun rays woke her up as they fell upon her face, almost blazing through her lifeless eyes. She took a look in the mirror, pale face with no trace of redness was all she could see. The hollows of her eyes pitch black, chapped cut lips and dry bruised skin completed her look. As the water poured into the tub, her dress dropped down to her heels. Collarbone, stick arms, skinny thighs, skeleton frame with skin covered in cuts and bruises was all to be seen. In a perplexed state of the mind she looked in the mirror at the vision of the most fragile and vulnerable creature on the face of the earth and sighed. Sinking into the tub, she vowed to herself that today was different, today was beautiful. Her eyes closed shut to the last happiest day of her life - Her wedding day.
